Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection

This game seems like a Hatsune Miku / Rock Band / Sims mashup. There is vocalist singing, crowd sourcing, and random customization in the trailer. I've yet to play a Hyperdimension Neptunia game, but I'm not sure this is how I should start. Haha

All I can say is, STAY AWAY! The Neptunia games are fairly terrible, though the other games are RPGs and this is a music game, so who knows.

Wow. I almost want to play it out of curiosity. It sounds like a terrible game, but that comment thread made me want to at least buy it used.
