Destiny Special Event Today: The Iron Banner

Today at 2 PM PST a new wing in the Tower will open for a special PVP event. Bring your best characters because level and gear advantages are turned on! The map rotation will include the current rotation plus two more maps (one from beta and one on Mars). There will be limited time rewards, so get in there!

The event will run for two hours.

The event will be held again tonight at 7 pm PST and again tomorrow at 2 pm PST and 7 pm PST.

There is a Ghost Fragment in the event area you should pick up if you are collecting them.

There is also a big ass ship that occasionally gets awarded after matches.

Oddly enough, seems like match rewards were kinda bonkers during he first run with the worse you did the better rewards you got.

Played a good bit of ths, didn't notice much different from the other mp mode. There's a new map which is nice.
