I know this is primarily a Playstation Gaming site, but I thought it would be fun to see other people's Gaming PC builds.

My build completed last winter:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
Havent O.C.ed it yet. still using the stock intel fan/heatsink

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Dual FTW
no O.C. yet

Memory: 2 sets of G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
no O.C. yet

PSU: Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-650 650W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Modular Design, Single +12V Rail

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3 Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower
I'm not too picky about the look of the case. For me its just a means to an end; to protect my parts. I just wanted at least 3 internal fans and front panel support for USB 3.0

Moniter: ASUS MX279H Silver / Black 27" 5ms (GTG)

Mouse: Logitech: G600 MMO gaming mouse

Keyboard: Logitech G105 Gaming Keyboard

My laptop is not really a gaming rig, but here goes:

GeForce GT 525M
Intel Core i7-2760QM @ 2.40 <-- quad core, Sandy Bridge
16 GB DDR3L (Corsair Vengeance, 1600mhz)

I think those are all of the parts inside that matter.

I don't use it for gaming, but I built this a couple months ago as my first build.

i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Asus H97-Plus Mobo
16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB GDDR5
256GB SSD
Trio of 22" Asus monitors

Work. Wanted to replace my crappy laptop that I was docking to two monitors. Desktop allowed me to pick up a third screen. Realized how awful the desktop market is these days for prebuilds/custom builds, so decided to give building one a shot. Some of it is a bit much, but sick of having PCs that could use upgrading after a year. Tried to future-proof it a bit without going overboard on specs and price. Thoroughly happy with it, especially considering I'm using it 80+ hours a week. Considering picking up a fourth monitor at some point, or just upgrading one to a larger one.

Yeah, as of now I have no idea what I would ever use my pc to do. I don't play games on it, so it mostly exists for schoolwork. When I buy another I'll give this one to my mom. She likes to edit photos and videos with Photoshop, and this setup is a lot better than what she has already.
