I could use a little help on a slight problem.

A friend of mine is having problems trying to add friends on to her buddy list. Everytime she tries she either has to sign off and then sign back on. Or turn off her ps3 a couple of times for a few minutes.
I think her system may just be getting old but i'm not sure. Any ideas?

it's probably her system. as she tried adding friends using the mobile app?

I've brought this up with her, she doesn't have/ won't use the mobile app. And i have yet to get an answer about her system. She says it's all sony's fault
