How about we set it in prehistoric times? No clue how or why, but how cool would it be to take on a T. Rex as Kratos in God of Dinosaurs. Just saying

The setting, not just landscape, is a huge part of the series. I know there are modern gods, but they arent viewed the same as Greek gods are. Itd be like setting zelda in Manhattan.

You're right. Modern gods are viewed as alive and thriving, whilst the ancient gods are dead and forgotten.
